A crash involving a Perodua Viva and a motorcycle happened near Pulai Chondong on the Kota Bharu–Kuala Krai Old Road at KM 29.4, about 8.30am yesterday. The motorcycle was travelling from Kota Bharu towards Kuala Krai, and the woman riding as the pillion rider, Yusnita Yusuf, 47, was confirmed dead at the scene. Her husband, the 44-year-old motorcyclist, suffered serious injuries and was being treated at the red zone of Machang Hospital Emergency Unit.
