The report highlighted that the two largest transactions, totalling US$621 million and US$61 million, allegedly occurred in March 2013. Furthermore, an additional RM42 million transfer, purportedly made into Najib's account in late 2014 or early 2015, is believed to have originated from SRC International Sdn Bhd, a former subsidiary of 1MDB.
Official Response and Opposition Demands

In response to these reports, opposition leaders have called for a comprehensive investigation into the alleged money trail. They have also demanded that Prime Minister Najib Razak be relieved of his duties pending the outcome of any probe. Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail confirmed on Saturday that a special task force has been established to investigate the complex financial dealings involving several companies, including SRC International Sdn Bhd, Ihsan Perdana Sdn Bhd, and Gandingan Mentari Sdn Bhd, which are reportedly implicated in channeling funds to Najib's bank accounts.
