All students are permitted to return to school irrespective of their COVID-19 vaccination status, with options available for continued home-based learning. Home Learning Adjustments for Remote Students

For students who continue learning from home, the educational approach will be adapted. Teachers will be physically present in schools and will prepare weekly learning materials. These materials, along with guides and learning tools, are being made available through the PerkasaKu system to support both teachers and students engaged in remote learning.
Staged School Reopening and Capacity Limits

Schools are scheduled to reopen in phases, beginning October 3, contingent on states progressing through Phases 2, 3, and 4 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP). Initially, schools will operate at a maximum of 50 per cent capacity. This measure involves alternating weeks of attendance for students to manage numbers and reduce the potential transmission of COVID-19.
Vaccination Drive for Teenagers and Tertiary Students

The reopening of schools coincides with an ongoing vaccination initiative targeting teenagers, specifically those aged 16 and 17, and individuals with comorbidities. A similar vaccination drive is also underway for higher tertiary students. The minister emphasized the importance of returning children to physical schooling, noting that they have missed approximately two years of conventional education.
