These parks include Taman Bandaraya, Taman Metropolitan in Relau, and Taman Jaja. Additionally, the Botanic Gardens will also permit outdoor activities, contingent upon strict adherence to health guidelines.
Allowed Activities and Restrictions

Jogging, cycling, walking, and individual exercises are permitted within these open parks. However, the use of exercise equipment and playgrounds is prohibited, with these areas being cordoned off. To prevent overcrowding, the number of individuals entering the parks will be monitored at the entrances.
District-Based Access Only

A significant restriction is that the public is only allowed to visit parks located within their own designated district. Crossing district boundaries for park visits is not permitted. This measure aims to limit inter-district travel and curb potential virus transmission.
Other Recreational Facilities Closed

In contrast to the open parks, all other recreational facilities, including sports complexes managed by local authorities and the Penang recreational space and stadium corporation, will be closed during the MCO.
