The new subsidised diesel price is RM2.10 per litre and takes effect on July 1. That timing places the rollout after the assurances given about outlet coverage and rural access.
Sabah leaders also framed leakage control as part of the rollout

Deputy Chief Minister II Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun urged Sabahans to report illegal sales of subsidised diesel. He said leakages reduce the amount of diesel available for eligible users and can cause the public to lose out as well.

Masidi also said discussions remained open so the scheme can be implemented smoothly without major disruption to key industries. He said no official complaints from industry players had been received so far.
