Tony Pua contends that 1MDB failed to adhere to several conditions stipulated in this authorisation. He has specifically asked Arul Kanda to clarify if these BNM conditions for the overseas fund transfer were indeed breached by 1MDB.

1MDB's Response to Document Leak

In response to the alleged leak of its confidential documents, 1MDB stated that it had lodged a police report. Arul Kanda, while confirming that the board meeting minutes appeared authentic and that January 12 was his first meeting since joining on January 5, has denied lying to the board.
