Datuk Azman did not fix the value or percentage of the donation requested from Shahradzi. Shahradzi, the managing director of Mamfor Sdn Bhd, personally estimated the donation could range from three to four percent of the contract value, a figure derived from industry discussions. These donations, totalling RM19.5 million, were made to Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) via cheques.
Donation Estimate Based on Industry Talk

Shahradzi testified that when businessman Datuk Azman Yusoff asked him to make a financial contribution to Bersatu in 2021, Azman did not specify any amount or percentage. Shahradzi stated that he himself estimated the donation amount, estimating it to be between three and four percent of the contract value. He further clarified that this estimation was based on "industry talk" among construction companies.
Mamfor Donated RM19.5 Million to Bersatu

Mamfor Sdn Bhd ultimately donated RM19.5 million to Bersatu. This sum was provided in two tranches: RM10.5 million before the project was awarded and RM9 million after the project was secured in October 2022. To facilitate these donations, Shahradzi borrowed RM7 million from Majulia Sdn Bhd and RM13.772 million from Sutracom Sdn Bhd.
Donations Made Via Cheques for Transparency

Shahradzi decided to make the donations via cheques, rather than cash, as he believed it would be a more transparent method. He personally delivered these cheques, issued by Mamfor, to the staff at Bersatu's headquarters. Evidence presented in court showed that Mamfor's RM19.5 million entered Bersatu's bank account through 29 cheques issued in 2021 and 2022.
