Nepturis Sdn Bhd's managing director, Mohd Rizman Akum Khan, testified that former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin never contacted him after Nepturis submitted a project application letter in February 2021. Rizman further clarified that he did not know Muhyiddin personally and that there was no communication from Muhyiddin after Nepturis secured the RM141 million contract.

Mohd Rizman Akum Khan confirmed under cross-examination that Muhyiddin had no contact with him following Nepturis's successful bid for the RM141 million project to build the Klang Utara district police headquarters. This lack of communication extended to instances where Nepturis received payments from the Public Works Department (JKR) for work completed on the project.
