Offer Made During Meeting

During the meeting, which was also attended by Perak PN secretary Datuk Zainol Fadzi Paharudin, the possibility of PN and BN working together to form the government was discussed. Ahmad Faizal stated that he informed Saarani that PN was "generous and open to cooperation." According to Ahmad Faizal, Saarani himself expressed his intention to hold the mentri besar post again during this discussion.
BN's Insistence on Specific Positions

While PN expressed openness to cooperation, Saarani reportedly insisted that PN should offer "important positions in the state government." He also requested time to consult with the Umno leadership before any agreement could be finalized. Saarani was later sworn in as the Mentri Besar after securing the support of 33 assembly members from BN and Pakatan Harapan (PH).
