Shahrol Azral testified that his belief in fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho, or Jho Low's, information about the proposed signing ceremony was influenced by early communication with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in 2009. He recalled initial contact with Datuk Amhari Efendi Nazaruddin, then a special officer to former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, during the preliminary stages of planning for the event.
