Specifically, the vaccine is free from porcine-derived material, gelatin of porcine animal origin, animal-derived glycerin, stearic acid, lactose, products derived from shellfish or non-scaly fish, and wheat starch. Clarification on Manufacturing Process

While Indonesia's Muslim clerical council cited the use of "trypsin from the pork pancreas" in the manufacturing process, Dr Adham clarified that porcine trypsin was utilized only during the development of the T-REx-293 cell line. He explained that this process occurred upstream and did not involve direct contact with the cell banks used in the actual vaccine manufacturing. Consequently, residual porcine material is not considered to be present in the final Drug Substance and Drug Product.
