No UPSI students have deferred their studies following the bus crash.

All Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) students who survived the fatal bus crash on June 9 have resumed their academic activities. The majority of these students are continuing their coursework online, with only three physically attending classes at the main campus in Tanjung Malim, Perak.
Resumption of Studies

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir confirmed that all injured students have been discharged from hospital and have not deferred their studies. The last student to be discharged from Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital in Kuala Terengganu on July 8 has also continued with their academic pursuits.
Online and On-Campus Attendance

While three surviving students have returned to attend classes on the Tanjung Malim campus, the remaining injured students are managing their studies remotely. This approach ensures that their academic progress is not significantly impacted by the incident, allowing them to continue their education during their recovery.
Incident Overview

The accident occurred on the Gerik-Jeli route and involved a chartered bus carrying UPSI students and a Perodua Alza. The students were on their way back to their campus in Perak after the Aidiladha holidays. The crash resulted in 15 student fatalities and 33 other individuals sustaining injuries.
