Following the failure of his initial investment, the victim discovered a Facebook post about an entity named International Justice Malaysia (IJM), which advertised its services in resolving scam cases. He contacted an individual who presented himself as a lawyer and requested additional payments to facilitate the recovery of his lost funds. These subsequent payments amounted to RM209,200.
