Medical Response and Pronouncement of Death

Following his collapse, Mohd Zahir was promptly rushed to a clinic located within Masjidil Haram. He was subsequently transferred to Saudi Hospital for further medical attention. It was at this hospital that he was officially pronounced dead.
Funeral Rites in Makkah

The funeral prayer for Mohd Zahir was held at Masjidil Haram after the Zohor prayer on Thursday. He was then laid to rest at the Syaraiee cemetery later that same afternoon. Malaysian Haj delegation officials have also been providing support to his wife during this difficult time.
