In the initial days of the current Ramadan, 4.8 tonnes of surplus food and beverages were successfully salvaged. Furthermore, an average of 600 kg of surplus food and beverages are being saved daily across four specific Ramadan bazaars in Melaka: MITC, Peringgit, Jasin Bestari, and Alor Gajah. Since the programme's commencement on March 10, a total of 5,304 kg of food and beverages have been saved at these four locations alone.
