Growth in Crude Palm Kernel Oil and Palm Kernel Cake

Alongside the rise in palm kernel output, the production of its derivatives also saw positive movement. Crude palm kernel oil production escalated by 14.55 per cent, from 174,071 tonnes in June to 199,392 tonnes in July. Similarly, palm kernel cake output saw a 10.11 per cent increase, reaching 215,304 tonnes compared to 195,534 tonnes in the previous month.
Overall Palm Oil Industry Performance

These increases in palm kernel related outputs contributed to broader trends within the Malaysian palm oil industry in July. Overall crude palm oil (CPO) stocks also rose by 7.24 per cent to 1.43 million tonnes. However, processed palm oil stockpiles saw a slight decrease of 0.99 per cent, settling at 1.20 million tonnes. Despite these stock movements, palm oil exports as a whole increased by 14.50 per cent in July.
