Interception of Courier Lorry with Vape Liquid

During the implementation of Op Wawasan, the 8th Battalion of the General Operations Force (GOF8) intercepted a courier service lorry at Pos Simpangan in Tumpat. The lorry, driven by a 34-year-old man, was found to be carrying 21,600 bottles of vape liquid, with an estimated value of RM1.18 million. A subsequent inspection revealed that the boxes contained various flavours of vape liquid. Following the discovery, a 20-year-old man came forward and confessed to being the intended recipient of these items. Both individuals and the seized goods, including the lorry, were transported to the Tumpat district police headquarters for further investigation.
Seizure of Electronic Cigarettes at Riverbank

In a separate operation, GOF8 also conducted a seizure at Pangkalan Haram Pok Leh, Kampung Tualang, Tumpat. Here, officers observed two men unloading boxes from the riverbank into a boat. Upon realising the presence of the GOF team, the two individuals immediately fled the scene in their boat, escaping into a neighbouring country. This incident resulted in the confiscation of 8,800 units of electronic cigarettes, valued at RM220,000.
