The change was described by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh during Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat.

DBKL also limited the mayor’s approval authority and added committees
Alongside the OSC 3.0 Plus Portal access, Yeoh said DBKL capped the mayor’s authority to approve contributions at RM3,000, with requests exceeding that amount decided by the Top Management Committee. She also said new committees were established, including an Audit Committee, a Governance and Integrity Committee, and a Mayor’s Contributions Committee, while the Audit Committee is no longer chaired by the mayor.
