The total student population returning to schools in Terengganu for the 2025/2026 session comprises 256,869 students. This number is broken down into 149,314 primary school pupils and 107,555 secondary school students.
School Readiness and Support

Terengganu Education Department director Jelani Sulong confirmed that all students could commence their learning sessions at 506 fully equipped schools.
