Examples of featured displays include idyllic kampung scenes, the busy streets of Petaling Street, a Johorean kelong, the Gomantong Caves in Sabah, and the lively crowds at Batu Caves during Thaipusam.
Meticulous Craftsmanship and Detail

The creation of these miniatures involved countless hours of painstaking labour from artists originating from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, and China. In some instances, a single diorama required the involvement of approximately 15 individuals in its crafting process. Over 30,000 individual pieces were meticulously placed to bring the exhibits to life, with extremely small elements, such as 3D-printed cockroaches for the Gomantong Caves scene, demonstrating the high level of precision.
Extensive Development Timeline

The gallery has been in development for a significant period of 18 months. Founder Wan Cheng Huat personally invested considerable time in ensuring the quality and accuracy of the models, spending up to 1.5 months on a single diorama, such as the Chinatown exhibit, to achieve the desired standard. This extended timeline and dedication highlight the commitment to detail and the complex coordination required to assemble the final displays.
