This was allegedly for extending the company’s contract as a VLN OSC in China and maintaining an agreement for the VLN integrated system. Seven other charges accused him, as a civil servant, of corruptly accepting SGD1,150,000, RM3,000,000, EURO15,000, and USD15,000 in cash from the same company, knowing its connection to his ministerial functions.
