Monitoring SOP Adherence

Penalties for Non-Compliance

Employers found to be flouting the MCO SOPs have faced penalties, including compounds amounting to RM1.2 million issued between June 1 and June 24. In more severe cases, such as the falsification of information on permits to operate during the MCO period, factory premises have been ordered to close immediately.
Continued Enforcement and Revocation of Approval

The Ministry of Human Resources has reiterated that JTK will continue to conduct inspections to prevent Covid-19 transmission in work environments. The government has indicated that operation approvals for factories will not be hesitated to be revoked if SOP violations persist, underscoring the seriousness of adherence to public health guidelines.
