DC Handal now provides a total of nine electric vehicle charging points at Bamboo Hills, comprising eight DC chargers and one AC charger. The new additions include advanced DC charging units capable of delivering high-speed charging.
Addition of High-Power DC Chargers

The Bamboo Hills hub has seen the deployment of two new Autel DC charger units. One is a 120kW Autel DC Charger equipped with two CCS2 nozzles, and the other is a more powerful 240kW Autel DC Charger, also featuring two CCS2 nozzles. These units are designed for rapid charging, with the 240kW charger capable of delivering its maximum output to a single vehicle, or dynamically splitting its power when multiple vehicles are connected.
Inclusion of an AC Charging Point

Complementing the DC charging infrastructure, DC Handal has also installed an additional 22kW Autel AC charger point. While this AC charger was not yet operational at the time of reporting, its presence contributes to the overall charging options available at the location. This type of charger is generally suitable for users who intend to stay for longer periods, such as patrons of the surrounding food and beverage outlets.
Total Charge Point Configuration

With these recent additions, DC Handal's charging facilities at Bamboo Hills now consist of a total of eight DC charge points and one AC charge point. This brings the total number of publicly accessible charging points at the hub to nine. These chargers are situated alongside existing Kempower DC chargers, further increasing the charging capacity.
Payment and Pricing Structure

Users have flexible options for activating and paying for charging sessions. The chargers support an open payment system, allowing direct payment via credit and debit cards, as well as mobile payment platforms like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Alternative activation methods include using applications such as ChargEV and JomCharge. The pricing for DC charging is set at RM1.30 per kWh, while AC charging is priced at RM0.90 per kWh.
