Raid Cripples Counterfeit Network

KPDNHEP enforcement officers raided two premises in Batu Caves, Selangor, which were being used as storage locations for counterfeit items. The operation was initiated following intelligence received from registered trademark owners concerning the online sale of fake goods, often offered at significantly reduced prices on social media platforms.
Significant Seizure of Counterfeit Goods

During the raid, which occurred after a period of monitoring, enforcement officers gained entry into the unoccupied premises. They seized 96,915 pieces of counterfeit branded clothing, with an estimated value of RM1.6 million. The seized items carried brands such as Adidas, Nike, and Puma, with representatives of these trademark owners cooperating in the preliminary verification process.
Investigation Underway
