Almost 170,000 Eligible Streamyx Customers Have Switched to Fibre Broadband

Approximately 170,000 eligible Streamyx customers have successfully upgraded to Unifi's fibre broadband network. This figure represents nearly 50 percent of the 340,000 Streamyx subscribers who were offered the opportunity to transition to the faster fibre service.
Progress of Streamyx to Fibre Migration

TM has reported that close to half of the 340,000 Streamyx customers identified for an upgrade to Unifi Fibre have completed the switch. This migration is part of an initiative to move customers from the older copper network to a more robust fibre infrastructure, offering enhanced internet speeds.
Remaining Customers Yet to Upgrade

As of the latest update, there are still 180,000 eligible Streamyx customers who have not yet made the transition to Unifi Fibre. TM has set a target for these remaining subscribers to upgrade by March 2019.
Addressing Customers Outside Fibre Coverage

For the approximately 350,000 Streamyx customers who are not located in areas covered by Unifi Fibre, TM plans to implement speed enhancements. These customers will see their internet speeds doubled, potentially up to 8Mbps, in a phased approach while the company continues to expand its fibre network.
