This land allocation is deemed sufficient to meet the housing needs of all affected families.
Federal and State Government Housing Commitments

The federal government has committed to building 1,244 permanent houses, and the state government will construct an additional 580 homes, bringing the total planned units to 1,824. Furthermore, the federal government has specifically allocated RM6 million for the construction of approximately 100 houses in Gua Musang, utilising identified land parcels.
Prioritising Homes with Clear Land Status

Out of the total 1,824 planned houses, 409 families have clear land status, while the remaining 1,145 families have unclear or non-owned land status. Construction efforts are being prioritised for the 409 houses belonging to families with clear land status. These homes are anticipated to be completed around the month of Ramadan or before Syawal.
Progress on Housing Construction

Currently, 59 of the 409 houses designated for families with clear land status have been completed. An additional 129 houses are in various stages of construction. This ongoing construction aims to address the immediate housing needs of flood victims while longer-term solutions are implemented for those with land status complexities.
