The technical investigation into the gas pipeline explosion incident in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya, has been completed and the findings will be made public this coming Monday, June 30. The report, finalised yesterday, will be presented to the Cabinet first before its public release, following the established procedural process. This incident, which occurred on April 1, had a varied impact on the surrounding residential areas.
Complete Destruction and Significant Structural Damage

A total of 81 homes were completely destroyed as a result of the fire incident. These properties suffered more than 40 per cent structural damage, rendering them uninhabitable.
Partial Damage and Non-Fire Related Impact

In addition to the homes that were completely destroyed, another 81 residences sustained partial structural damage. Furthermore, 57 homes were affected by the incident but did not suffer fire damage.
Homes Unaffected by the Incident

The blast and subsequent fire had no impact on 218 homes in the vicinity. This count includes residences located in areas such as Kampung Tengah, Puchong.
