More than 40 investors are facing significant financial losses, estimated at up to S$4 million (RM12.6 million), following the bankruptcy of Lim Jian Bin, the owner of Nozomii Vending. Investors in Nozomii Vending were promised annual returns of up to 10 per cent. Financial adviser Kevin Lin, for example, invested S$484,300 and was initially promised these returns. While Lin was still owed approximately S$196,000 when Lim declared bankruptcy, he managed to recover S$100,000 through a debt recovery agency.
Business Background and Investigation

Nozomii Vending was established by Lim Jian Bin in 2021. Following the collapse of the business, police have confirmed receiving multiple reports and are currently conducting investigations into the matter. Lim had also been a shareholder in eight different companies across various sectors, including vending machines and management consultancy.
Owner's Response and Creditor Claims

After his bankruptcy declaration, Lim Jian Bin reportedly sent WhatsApp messages to some investors, apologising for their losses and citing harassment and business sabotage as contributing factors to the failure. A notice displayed at Nozomii Vending's premises indicated that Lim and another individual associated with the business collectively owed creditors S$50,000.
