These reopenings are part of TNB's phased approach to restoring services in areas designated as Covid-19 green and yellow zones.
Expansion to 47 New Locations

TNB announced that on May 18, 2020, operations would recommence at 47 Kedai Tenaga sites. These newly operational locations are situated in areas currently classified under Covid-19 green and yellow zones. The affected states and territories include Putrajaya, Johor, Pahang, Terengganu, Melaka, and Seri Manjung in Perak.
Previous Resumption on May 12

Prior to this expansion, TNB had already reopened some of its facilities on May 12, 2020. This initial phase of service restoration included Kedai Tenaga operations and meter reading activities in Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan, Penang, and Perak (excluding the Seri Manjung branch).
Total Operational Outlets Reaches 92

With the addition of the 47 locations, the total number of Kedai Tenaga outlets operating across the country, excluding UTCs, will reach 92. This increase aims to provide TNB customers with greater access to conduct various transactions related to their electricity services. In addition to these outlets, 57 self-service payment kiosks remain available for customers.
