Furthermore, the PKP is integrated with the Lung Health Initiative, which employs AI-based chest X-ray technology for early detection of work-related lung diseases.
Focus on Preventing Occupational Risks

The Ministry recorded a total of 5,617 occupational safety and health (OSH) cases involving its staff in the previous year. These cases included workplace and commuting accidents, needlestick injuries, and other occupational diseases such as dermatitis, tuberculosis, and hearing loss. The enhanced occupational health services and the newly launched Occupational Health Service Guidelines at MOH Facilities (GP PKP) are designed to reinforce measures against these risks.
