Flames Combined for Ceremonial Lighting

Prior to the relay's start, two separate flames were brought to Nagoya. Homare Sawa, Japan's 2011 Women's World Cup-winning captain, and renowned tennis player Kimiko Date, presented flames originating from Tokyo and Hiroshima. These flames were combined with a separate flame that was lit within Aichi Prefecture itself, creating a unified ceremonial flame.
Route and Cauldron Lighting

The torch is scheduled to traverse Aichi Prefecture, with planned stops in neighbouring prefectures. This journey culminates in the lighting of the main cauldron during the opening ceremony. The grand opening is slated to take place at Paloma Mizuho Stadium on September 19.
Scope of the Asian Games
