Programme Objectives and Distribution

This initiative seeks to cultivate environmental consciousness among students while simultaneously easing the financial strain on B40 households concerning essential educational materials. A total of one million exercise books are designated for 100,000 B40 students, with each of the 40 selected students in the participating schools receiving ten books.
Broader Distribution and Future Targets

Beyond the initial rollout, the programme has also extended its reach to selected B40 students in 44 schools across Johor, Perlis, Penang, Perak, Kedah, and Kelantan. Looking ahead, there is an ambitious target to distribute over two million recycled exercise books nationwide to all B40 students in the subsequent year.
Corporate and Individual Contributions

The programme, managed by Perbadanan Kota Buku and spearheaded by the National Book Council of Malaysia (MBKM) in partnership with CP Integrated Sdn Bhd, has already secured contributions from 18 local companies and one international firm, C.A.S Paper Mill (Thailand). These contributions, amounting to RM650,000 for one million exercise books, are eligible for tax relief of up to 10 per cent for participating companies.
