Stranded Students Primarily from Segamat Schools

Of the 89 candidates unable to attend their examinations, seven schools were located in Segamat. Specifically, SMK Tenang Stesen had 45 students affected, SMK LTP Pemanis had 32, and SMK Labis had five. The remaining affected students from Segamat were from SMK Bandar Putra, SMK Gemereh, SMK Dato’ Bentara Dalam, and SMK Tinggi.
One Candidate Affected in Kulai

In addition to the Segamat schools, one SPM candidate from SMK Taman Putri in Kulai was also unable to sit for their examination due to the floods. This brings the total number of stranded candidates across the state to 89.
Other Candidates Arrived Late or Safely

While 89 candidates were stranded, it was also noted that another 89 candidates managed to reach their examination centres safely, albeit with some starting their exams late. Furthermore, a total of 127 candidates were accommodated at four examination centres in Kota Tinggi due to the flood situation.
