The complete Putrajaya Line of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system will be served by 36 stations once it is fully operational. This extensive network spans 56.2 km and is designed to integrate seamlessly with other existing rail lines across the Klang Valley. The line is set to feature 49 driverless, four-car train sets, each capable of carrying up to 1,200 passengers.
Phase Two Nearing Operational Readiness

The second phase of the Putrajaya Line, covering the 38.7 km stretch from Kampung Batu MRT Station to Putrajaya Sentral MRT Station, is currently in its operational readiness phase. This section alone comprises 15 elevated and nine underground stations. Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) has indicated that this phase is expected to commence operations in March 2023, following the finalisation of approvals with relevant authorities.
Extensive Interconnectivity with Existing Networks

Passengers will benefit from the line's integration with other public transport systems at 10 different interchange stations. These include connections to the Kajang MRT Line, KTM Komuter, Ampang and Sri Petaling LRT Lines, KL Monorail, Kelana Jaya LRT Line, and the ERL and KLIA Transit Lines at Putrajaya Sentral. This comprehensive network aims to provide convenient and seamless travel options for commuters.
Enhanced Passenger Facilities and Safety Testing

To support commuters, 5,870 parking bays will be available at 15 stations along the Putrajaya Line's alignment. The operator, Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, alongside the turnkey contractor MMC Gamuda KVMRT (PDP SSP) Sdn Bhd, is conducting final trial operations to ensure all systems and procedures are effective. Crucial safety tests, including a 4,000 km Fault-Free Run, have been successfully completed to guarantee the trains' safety and fitness for service.
