Beneficiaries of the Loan Advance

The WPP is specifically provided to Malaysian students pursuing Diploma studies at IPTAs who have opted to receive it during their application via UPUOnline. A key criterion for eligibility is that the student's parents or guardians must be recipients of the Rahmah Cash Aid (STR) and meet other stipulated requirements.
Disbursement and Validity Period

Students can collect their WPP, amounting to RM1,500 each, from July 18 onwards at any Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad branch across the country. To facilitate the cash-out process, students are required to present their WPP offer letter and their MyKad for verification purposes. The validity period for cashing out the WPP is two months, running from July 18 until September 18.

Since its inception in 1999, the WPP has been a significant source of financial support for students.
