Second Operation Confiscates RM11.4 Million in Methamphetamines

A subsequent operation on Monday at the Kepong Industrial Park (KIP) in Kuala Lumpur led to the arrest of a 32-year-old man suspected of being a storekeeper and transporter for a syndicate. A search of a vehicle and the premises uncovered 350 packets labelled "Red Apple," believed to contain 358 kg of methamphetamines, with an estimated value of RM11.4 million. This syndicate had been active since early the year, using a rented premises, occupied for only four days prior to the raid, to store drugs for distribution within the domestic market, particularly the Klang Valley.
Third Operation Seizes RM8.18 Million in Drugs

Later on the same Monday, a raid on a house in Bandar Menjalara, Kepong, resulted in the apprehension of three Thai nationals, two women and one man, aged between 22 and 24. During the inspection, police discovered 250 packets of "Guan Yin Wang" herbal tea, suspected to be 256 kg of methamphetamines, and 125 buckets of sponge cake emulsifier, each containing two packets of syabu. The total value of drugs seized in this third operation was estimated at RM8.18 million, with the drugs being airtight sealed. This syndicate, believed to be operating since early the year, was reportedly using the premises for drug storage and repackaging before distributing them to both international and domestic markets.
