Ketamine Found in Batu Caves Warehouse

During a raid on a warehouse in Batu Caves on December 2, approximately 42 kilogrammes of ketamine were discovered. The illicit substance was found concealed within the door frames of three containers located on the premises. A total of 168 plastic boxes containing a white powder, suspected to be ketamine, were found in this raid.
Additional Seizure at Port Klang

The following day, on December 3, a further 40 kilogrammes of ketamine were seized at Port Klang. This discovery was made in three additional containers that were in the process of being shipped to the Batu Caves warehouse. Similar to the Batu Caves find, the ketamine was hidden within the door frames of these containers, also containing 168 plastic boxes filled with the suspected drug.
International Syndicate Suspected

Investigation revealed that the containers, originating from Karachi, Pakistan, were imported to Port Klang before being transported to the warehouse in Batu Caves. The drug was cleverly disguised within bundles of used clothing packed into the door frames of the six containers involved. The four arrested individuals are currently remanded until December 16 for further investigation under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. Authorities are also seeking two Pakistani nationals, identified as Muhammad Fasih Khan and Muhammad Muhammad Bilal Malik, to assist with the ongoing inquiry.
