Expansion of Tax Scope to Include Nicotine

The scope of excise duty was broadened to encompass nicotine-containing liquid and gel starting May 1, 2023. Following this expansion, both nicotine and non-nicotine liquids are taxed at a uniform rate of 40 sen per millilitre.
Classification and Additional Taxes
