This facility aims to bolster coverage in the northern region of Malaysia, complementing existing centres in Sarawak, Sabah, and Selangor.
Future Local K9 Breeding and Training Program

Bomba has entered into an agreement with the Ministry of Finance to develop its own K9 breeding and training programme. This long-term initiative, operating under the Industrial Collaboration Plan (ICP), is slated to commence in 2026. The primary objective is to decrease reliance on foreign canine procurement and ensure a consistent supply of local, well-trained dogs, thereby fostering a more sustainable K9 resource for the department.
