Activation During Peak Influx from Singapore

The activation of contra lanes is specifically planned for periods when a significant number of vehicles are arriving in Malaysia from Singapore, while fewer vehicles are departing the country. This strategy allows for increased capacity on entry routes by utilising lanes normally designated for exits.
Enhanced Counter Operations

In conjunction with the activation of contra lanes, additional counters will be opened at both the BSI CIQ and KSAB. This aims to further reduce waiting times and improve the flow of travellers through the immigration checkpoints.
