Transition to High-Speed Broadband Network

Increased Usage Trends and Service Offerings

Rokki, the provider of inflight entertainment and WiFi services, anticipates a substantial rise in usage, targeting 40 per cent of an average of 150 passengers per flight to utilise the WiFi service. This is a notable increase from the approximately 20 per cent of passengers who have used the WiFi service since its initial introduction in June 2017. A particular upward trend in usage has been observed among youths and businessmen, with around 25 per cent from these demographics currently utilising the service. Beyond connectivity, the AirAsia WiFi service continues to offer free entertainment, music, games, news, and shopping experiences.
