These planned enhancements include levelling the station platform to align with the trackless trams, a measure that was not feasible within the timeframe of the recent pilot trial in Putrajaya due to short notice.

The primary modification required for full wheelchair accessibility involves ensuring the station platform is level with the trackless trams. This will eliminate the current step or gap that necessitates alternative boarding methods. Mobilus acknowledged that this infrastructural amendment could not be completed in time for the pilot trial conducted in Putrajaya.
Engagement with Special Needs Groups

Mobilus has previously engaged with various groups representing individuals with special needs, including the blind society and Persons with Disabilities (PwD). These consultations were conducted to gain a deeper understanding of their specific requirements and to integrate these needs into the ART's design. The operator indicated that this feedback loop is crucial for developing an inclusive transit system.
Trial Limitations and Compromises

During a recent informal audit by the Damai Disabled Person Association Malaysia, it was observed that wheelchair users had to be physically carried onto the ART. The trial was conducted in collaboration with Perbadanan Putrajaya and the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research, with support from the Transport Ministry.
