Previous Exoneration and Legal Defence

Ghani highlighted that an earlier video involving businessman Datuk Albert Tei had previously "absolved and exonerated" Kitingan and Sabah STAR from any connection to the mining scandal. He asserted that if MACC decides to press charges, Kitingan and other Sabah STAR officers are prepared to defend their innocence in court, emphasizing the principle of being innocent until proven guilty.
