He acknowledged the challenging nature of contesting in Pulau Manis, noting that the seat is situated within the Pekan parliamentary constituency, a traditional stronghold of Barisan Nasional.
Ho Yang to Defend Tanah Rata Seat

The second new candidate fielded by Pahang DAP is Ho Yang, a 27-year-old special officer to the Tanah Rata assemblyman, Chiong Yoke Kong. The party aims to defend all seven of its current state seats in Pahang and to wrest back the Cameron Highlands and Lipis parliamentary seats, along with the Pulau Manis state seat, from Barisan Nasional.
