Overall Haj Cost Rises Significantly

The overall cost for performing the Haj this year is projected to rise by more than RM2,000 per person, reaching an estimated RM30,850. The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Datuk Mohd Na’im Mokhtar, previously indicated this projected rise in expenses.
