Lim Guan Eng stated that their inaction, despite public complaints and a Public Accounts Committee (PAC) report, until a special directive from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, demonstrates their unsuitability for their roles. He argued that the Prime Minister's intervention to order investigations and prosecutions is an admission of their failure to act independently and professionally.
Allegations of Inaction on LCS Scandal

Lim Guan Eng asserted that the prolonged inaction by both the MACC and the Attorney General's Chambers on the RM9 billion LCS scandal, even in the face of public complaints and a PAC report, is unacceptable. He specifically highlighted that Tan Sri Azam Baki and Tan Sri Idrus Harun had to be summoned by the Prime Minister and explicitly ordered to expedite investigations and bring those responsible to court. Concurrently, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein informed the Dewan Negara that the first of the six LCS vessels, being built by Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd (BNS), is anticipated to be ready within two years.
