Quarantine Protocols Differentiated by Work Location

Upon arrival in Sarawak, teachers working in urban areas who have already undergone the pre-travel Covid-19 screening are mandated to self-quarantine at home for 14 days. During this period, they must wear a quarantine wristband. Conversely, teachers designated for rural areas in Sarawak, regardless of whether they were screened before entering the state, must undergo a 14-day quarantine at a JPBNS-designated quarantine centre, also requiring the use of a wristband throughout their stay.
Additional Screening for Rural-Bound Teachers
