'Fahim' was found alone inside a shipping container that arrived on the MV Integra, a vessel carrying miscellaneous general items. The ship docked at Westport on January 17. The boy is believed to have entered the container without authorisation while the ship was docked in Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Medical Attention and Repatriation Process

Upon discovery, the boy received a medical examination and treatment for a fever. The Ministry has confirmed that the process for his repatriation is being conducted in accordance with legal procedures.
