New Department Directors Appointed at Bukit Aman

Bukit Aman headquarters will welcome two new department directors. Pahang police chief Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf has been appointed as the new director of the Commercial Crimes Investigation Department (CCID). Concurrently, the current CCID director, Datuk Seri Mohd Kamaruddin Md Din, will transition to become the director of the Narcotics Crimes Investigation Department.
Kuala Lumpur Police Chief and Special Branch Promotions

The leadership in Kuala Lumpur is also set for a change, with Penang police chief Datuk Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain taking over as the new Kuala Lumpur police chief. Furthermore, Datuk Ahmad Ramdzan Daud, previously the deputy director II of the Special Branch, has been promoted to deputy director I, achieving the acting rank of Commissioner of Police (CP).
Promotions within Crime Prevention and Traffic Enforcement

Several other senior officers have also been elevated to new positions. ACP Beh Eng Lai, the former Sentul district police chief, has been promoted to chief of the Kuala Lumpur Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, holding the acting rank of Superintendent of Police (SAC). Additionally, Supt Azman Shari’at, who led the Selangor Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT), has been appointed as the chief of the Bukit Aman JSPT secretariat, with the acting rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP). These appointments are effective from May 15.
