In a separate incident, a lane on the Jeli-Grik route near Kampung Batu 10, in Batu Melintang, was closed following a landslide and the uprooting of trees that occurred last night. This road, however, has seen clearing operations undertaken by the Jeli Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM).

Currently, two out of the three lanes on the Jeli-Grik route are open to road users following the clearing efforts.
